The Communication Workers Union is an independent professional organisation with a long track record of representing employees in Santander, and has the experience and financial strength to do a first class job on your behalf. We collectively bargain for members on terms and conditions of employment and also represent members individually on grievance and discipline issues.
Objectives and Member Benefits
The union's first duty and responsibility is to protect and promote the interests of its members in the workplace. Reflecting a model democratic structure, every CWU member belongs to one of the union's branches. Our representatives are elected by our members and are highly motivated, well trained and on hand to help you. To back up our local reps in the Bank the Union has a network of regional and national officers including legal, safety and equality experts.
We also offer our members extra benefits, such as free legal advice, a free will-writing service, and discounted motor, home and travel insurance. We are affiliated to the TUC and UNI the global union federation.
