Mandatory training

As a bank we have a number of mandatory training modules that have to be completed each year, and some additional ones when you're a new starter. This will help you understand your role in protecting our customers, protecting information while also minimising risk to the bank.
If you are a new starter or contractor, you must complete this training within your first 30 days of joining. In most cases this training is refreshed on an annual basis.
Click here to access the Mandatory Training Resource Centre which will give you details of the Mandatory Training required. For security reasons you can only access this site if you are logged in to the Santander network. Once you are on the site, click on either the ‘new starter requirement' box, or ‘existing employee requirement' box to take you to the drop down menu where you enter your band and whether you are a manager or not.  This then tells you exactly which modules you need to complete.
These can include:
  • Anti-bribery
  • Data Protection and Information Security
  • Fighting Financial Crime
  • Fraud
  • Health and Safety
  • Diversity and Inclusion
Once you know what you need to complete, click here to go to the Learning Management System and enrol on your mandatory training modules.
If you have any problems with the Learning Management System, click here to go to Learning at Santander which provides help with how to sort out the most common problems.  You can also use information in the Learning Help Area page.
For security reasons you can only access the Learning Management System or Learning at Santander if you are logged into the Santander network.
